Wife. Mother. Mayor. Ready to Serve Huron County.
I was born and raised right here in Huron County, and this is where my husband Carl and I are raising our two sons. I know these roads, I know these communities, and I know the challenges and opportunities facing our county.
Before entering public service, I spent over a decade building my career in banking, lending, and business management. Working in the financial sector taught me the importance of fiscal responsibility, customer service, and getting results. I learned how to manage budgets, build relationships, and solve problems—skills that translate directly to effective local government.
In 2019, I decided to run for Mayor of Plymouth because I wanted to build a vibrant community where people can gather, connect, and thrive—bringing neighbors together through meaningful events and fostering an environment where local businesses can flourish. I believe that strong communities are built on relationships and shared purpose, and I'm committed to making that vision a reality county wide.
I won because voters recognized that I would put their interests first. Since taking office in January 2020, I've worked to keep that promise every day. I've secured $3.2 million in state funding for our long-delayed bridge replacement, completed major street improvements, and kept our village budget balanced.
As Mayor, I've seen firsthand how important county government is to our communities. The decisions made by Commissioners affect our roads, our budgets, our economic development, and our quality of life.
I'm running for County Commissioner because I believe Huron County deserves the same kind of practical, results-driven leadership I've brought to Plymouth. I'm not interested in territorial fights. I'm interested in fixing roads, managing budgets responsibly, supporting our farmers and small businesses, and making sure every township and village has a voice at the county level.
I've built a record of collaboration—working with officials from both Richland and Huron counties to get things done for Plymouth. I'll bring that same approach to the Commissioner's office.
Elected in 2019, re-elected in 2023. Secured $4.8M in infrastructure funding, maintained balanced budgets, and led major community improvement projects.
Completed intensive leadership program at Ohio State University's John Glenn College of Public Affairs, focused on civic leadership and public management.
Over 10 years in banking, lending, and insurance. Developed expertise in budget management, customer service, and community relations.
Served on multiple boards including ACCESS Emergency Shelter Services, Plymouth Improvement Committee, and Richland County Regional Planning Board.
At the center of everything I do is my family. My husband Carl has been my partner and biggest supporter throughout my career in public service. Together, we're raising our two sons and teaching them the values that matter: hard work, honesty, and service to others.
When I'm not working at Village Hall, you'll find me at my boys' school events, cheering at local sports games, or enjoying time outdoors with my family. We love attending the Huron County Fair, supporting local businesses, and being part of this community.
This campaign is personal to me because the decisions made by County Commissioners directly affect my family—the roads we drive on, the services we rely on, and the future our children will inherit. I'm running because I want to make sure Huron County remains a great place to raise a family for generations to come.
This is a community-driven effort powered by neighbors—focused on advocating for the people of Huron County. I'm asking for your vote to bring practical, results-driven leadership to the Commissioner's office.
